Project Salient Features

The project consists of reconstruction of 70 schools in 8 earthquake affected districts of Nepal & Central Library at Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu.
 
Competent contractors with a good track record have been appointed by CLPIU(Education) after thorough tender process which included technical qualification and verification of credentials to ensure on time project completion with quality.

  • School projects consist of typical Building Units -  RCC frame of 1, 2 or 3 storeys having 2 to 12 classrooms, lab, toilet block etc.

  • School Buildings comforming to  disaster-resilient standards,  local, national and international codes

  • Utmost priority for safety and security

  • Equipped with water and sanitation facilities including gender-specific toilets

  • Disabled and child friendly features

  • Science and computer laboratories
