CSIR - Central Building Research institute (CBRI), Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India is one of the National laboratories under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India.  CBRI has been appointed by Indian Embassy Kathmandu for end to end consultancy for the all the project stages which includes design, construction management & defect liability period.

The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) was established with the main objective of rapid reconstruction of the physical damages caused by the massive earthquakes of April 25 and May 12, 2015 and their aftershocks.

Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Education) established under the  National Reconstruction Authority with a mission to expedite the reconstruction of the schools affected from the devastating earthquake of April 2015. The CLPIU(E) is actively engaged in the school reconstruction activities with a continuous and aggressive coordination, communication and collaboration with all the contributing donors, GOs, INGOs & NGOs, diplomatic agencies and other development partners.
